HCSG Helps Make Prom a Night to Remember

,

With a partnership spanning over two decades, the HCSG teams serving the Beverly Farm residents are committed to living out our company purpose, fostering fulfillment in communities.

A beautiful example of this commitment occurred in late April when Beverly Farm hosted a prom for its residents during their annual Family Weekend. Beverly Farms is a residential community supporting adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. They strive to provide individuals with physical and emotional security and a dignified quality of life. Cottages, group homes, apartments, and community-based options make up the landscape nearly 400 people call home.

When planning for the Family Weekend began, HCSG Director of Operations Tyler Mitchell eagerly volunteered to assist wherever needed to make the weekend fun and memorable for families visiting. One event in particular stood out as the perfect opportunity to give back and showcase the services HCSG provides to the Beverly Farm community daily — the Resident Prom.

“Our teams have always been involved in as much as we can at Beverly Farms and were thrilled to be a part of this event. Like the services we provide, put our best foot forward at all times,” said Tyler.

Tyler and his team took the lead in preparation, providing all the food and drinks and helping with coordination. Personally going shopping for the event, Tyler ensured that the menu would be delicious for all attendees. The dining team made fruit pies, adding a special touch to the evening. With the food taken care of, the next thing on the list was creating the best setting for the event. For this, Tyler reached out to a relative who had access to fresh flowers. The relative happily donated them to make the event even more special.

The big night finally arrived, and it was a night to remember! Residents dressed in their best – joined by family members – were welcomed to an event that was carefully and thoughtfully planned with each in mind. Residents spent the evening dancing with friends and family and making new memories that are sure to be spoken about for months to come.

“It was a really good time – a ton of fun!” Tyler exclaimed.

HCSG is proud to be a part of the Beverly Farm community and grateful to be able to support such a special event. For more than 20 years, HCSG has served the residents and staff with quality housekeeping and dining services. We look forward to many more years of service and opportunities to give back.
