Associate of the Year
Environmental Services

Parmjeet Kaur
Light Housekeeper
Texas

Parmjeet joined HCSG in May 2022, a few months after receiving her US Citizenship. Eager to begin her first official job, she delved right into her work as a Housekeeper at Park Manor Cyfair. She didn’t let a language barrier get in the way of learning the appropriate cleaning techniques or supporting her fellow team members when needed to help sanitize the facility during COVID outbreaks. Her dedication to her job resulted in her District Manager noticing that problematic rooms and areas were no longer an issue, and as they went about during weekly audits and check-ins with facility leadership, they would have people wait around specifically to share the outstanding work Parmjeet was doing. It was at that facility and with her fellow team members, that Parmjeet was able to share in the experience of receiving her very first paycheck, a moment that brought tears to everyone around her. Although she has only been with the company for less than a year, Parmjeet embodies and displays HCSG’s Purpose, Fostering Fulfillment in Communities. She is the first to volunteer for any event celebrating a fellow team member and will go out of her way to share in their milestones without hesitation. “In the 13+ years, I have been in management, I have had the pleasure of meeting exemplary employees, however, Parmjeet, in my opinion, is a rare gem you not only want to find in an employee but as a person as a whole,” said her District Manager.
