The Going Beyond Assistance Fund (GBAF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was formed by HCSG to serve as a charitable employer-sponsored disaster relief organization to provide emergency, hardship, and disaster assistance, to HCSG employees and their dependents or family members.

The 1-2-3 Payroll Deduction Initiative is simple. If a $1 payroll deduction is set up from 2% of HCSG employees, we can more than triple the number of grants the Going Beyond Assistance Fund is able to provide annually.

It took a toll both physically and mentally. She was able to keep her apartment thanks to this program. “Due to the damage caused by Hurricane Ian, my family and I were out of power for five days. We had roof damage, our fence was destroyed, two screen doors were gone, and there is frame damage to my house. Due to all of the damage we became behind on some of our bills. Because of our grant from the GBAF we were able to pay our bills and make some home repairs.
